Introduction:
The SS25 St Emmanuel BEC caters to families currently living in SS25/2, 25/3, 25/4, 25/5, 25/6, 25/7, 25/5, 25/9, 25/10, 25/11, 25/12, 25/13,25/15, 25/17, and 25/21. Seventeen families are currently involved and make up SS25 St. Emmanuel.
Patron Saint of our BEC is St. Emmanuel, a Vietnamese Bishop who was martyred for his faith.
Main activities/programmes/events:
CORE MEETINGS - held on the second Wednesday of each month. Core meetings are held on a rotation basis in a Core Team member’s home
PRAYER MEETINGS - held on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Prayer meets are held on a rotation basis in the home of the families of BEC SS25 St. Emmanuel.
PROGRAMMES ORGANIZED
- Rosary in homes in the months of May and October
- Caroling by members in the homes of BEC members
- Christmas Party for BEC SS25 families
- Cafeteria Coffee Morning - each family donates towards the Coffee morning in kind and effort
- Trips and excursions for encouraging fellowship among families, including youth and senior citizens
- Nature Walks for Families, Youth and Senior Citizens
- Visits to sick members of BEC SS25
- Donation Drive for the needy.
