There are two kinds of baptism: infant baptism and adult baptism.
Infant Baptism
Infant baptism is carried out for children. Infant baptism is carried out on the last Sunday of every month for English-speaking parishioners and on the last Sunday of even months (February, April, June, etc) for Mandarin-speaking parishioners. Instruction for parent(s) and God-parent(s) will be given on the Friday prior to the baptism.

After the application has been submitted, the Parish Office will confirm the date and time of the baptism.
The following conditions will apply for infant baptism:
- To baptise an infant, at least one of the parents must be a practicing Catholic.
- The God-parent(s) must be confirmed and practicing Catholics. One God-parent per infant is sufficient. However, two would be preferable.
- Parent(s) and God-parent(s) are required to attend the instructional session. The instructional session is held at 8:15 pm on the Friday prior to baptism.
- The parent(s) must be residing within the Petaling Jaya District. If the parent(s) are not residing in the Petaling Jaya District, they will are required have to submit a letter of request / no objection from their respective Parish Priest.
Adult Baptism
Under normal circumstances, adults seeking baptism must attend the Rite of Catholic Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
In the case of an adult who is unable to come to the Church for baptism (e.g. due to old age, illness or for any other valid reason), s/he may contact the Parish Priest for a special arrangement.
