The Damansara Utama BEC essentially covers both the SS20 & SS21 areas. We have about 120 families living in these two areas with some families attending Kristus Aman, St Ignatius and SFX church.
In December 2009, the Damansara Utama SS 21 BEC was renamed "HOLY FAMILY BEC” and SS20 BEC is now under a newly-restructured BEC.
With this new restructuring exercise, there are about 62 families within the HOLY FAMILY BEC, though we are still in the midst of finding ways to reach out to bring non-participating members to join the BEC. Do pray that we will be able to touch the hearts of more people in the SS21 area.

Planned Activities for 2010
For the year 2010, we have lined up several activities as listed below:
Monthly Core Team Meeting (every 2nd Wednesday of each month @ 8.15 pm)
Monthly Gathering on reflection paper/talk (every 3rd Wednesday @ 8.15 pm)
March 2010 Lenten Projects - Fellowship with Myanmese refugees (rice & foodstuff donation)
May - Rosary held on Wednesdays & Fridays
July - sponsored & participated in feeding of the poor (PIHD)
7 August - Ladies Get-together @ 1pm (a flower arrangement & baking of delicious mini pies will be the highlight followed by tea & fellowship, please contact your respective messenger or look out for “The Vineyard”.
August 22nd 2010 - Coffee Morning (fund raising). We need many volunteers to help shop, cook, bake, & sell, if you would like to help out but will not be available on that day; you are welcome to make contributions in the form of foodstuff for us to sell or a donation.
Oct - An upcoming trip (will keep you updated)
Formation Talks - to be confirmed (we will keep you updated)
Dec - Caroling, fellowship and our annual Christmas party will also be held.
Our recycling campaign to collect old newspapers is on-going and you can send them to: 135 Jalan SS 20/1 Damansara Utama – Ph: Joyce 77272968. Please call before sending. The funds are used for our out-reach projects.
